Laborers – Flatwork and Foundations

Under the supervision of their foreman our laborers are responsible for the following:

• Set up for concrete pour, including set stakes, nail up lumber, set panels
• Place and tie rebar
• Place and level concrete and screed
• Strip panels and lumber
• Job site clean up

Finishers

Duties of our concrete finishers:

• Set up for concrete pour, including set stakes, nail up lumber, set panels
• Place and tie rebar
• Place and level concrete and screed
• Strip panels and lumber
• Perform finishing duties to required specifications either by hand or machine
• Concrete sawing
• Job site clean up

Foreman/Supervisor

Duties of our concrete foreman/supervisor:

• Set up for concrete pour, including set stakes, nail up lumber, set panels
• Jobsite Layout/Staking
• Material ordering
• Scheduling of employees
• Coordinate scheduling of pours
• Attend construction meetings
• Jobsite organization
• Schedule maintenance of equipment
• Training of new employees
